The Short Version

Five Minute Note collects nothing. No accounts, no logins, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising IDs, no crash reporting, no telemetry. Nothing about you or your device is ever sent anywhere.

Your Notes

The text you type exists only in memory on your Mac and is permanently destroyed when its timer expires or when you delete it. Nothing is written to disk, and nothing ever leaves your device.

Data We Collect

None. The app does not gather personal information, usage data, device identifiers, or any other information from you or your device.

Network

The app makes no network connections of any kind. It works entirely offline and has no servers to talk to.

Preferences

Your hotkey and window-color choices are stored locally on your Mac using the system's standard preferences storage. These settings never leave your device and are not transmitted anywhere.

Children

Because Five Minute Note collects no information from anyone, it collects no information from children either.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
